Made a BlueSky account just to check, and seems there's actually a nice* movie community there. Maybe now that Jack Dorsey left, they'll continue implementing more moderation and it'll be usable as a side social media for some quick checks?

@falcon I think Jack actually had very little influence on the project after it started (the lead dev said he's barely talked to him at all)… it's just that everyone who's not in the loop thought he was involved because that's how it was presented in the media. So nothing should really change, except one less thing to discourage people :)
