box464, A walk through our local sculpture park. I've probably posted similar, but it's been a few years It's a mix of beautiful and macabre, as is fitting for our weird little city.
A life sized sculpture sits at the front of an empty field in the background. It's a human man, but with a face that has no eyes, nose or mouth. It would be very creepy to come upon this at night!
A large white sculpture of an animal with very long letgs and large ears. I assume this is a giraffe. The lush green plant life in the background contrasts well with the all white sculpture.
Another horrific sculpture to come across at night. A metal humoanid like shape with no arms, but two bat like wings with charms of some kind hanging off the wings. A large single red eye glows in the middle of the head.
A pastel pink and blue sculpture of a butterfly sitting on top of a bee hive. This is a park in Bee Cave, so bee hives are the them.
A giant paper mache type head with short green hair. Out of the top of the head , plants are growing.
A large rusty sculpture of a man-like abstract creature.
A lush green view of a marshy pond, well hidden at the back of the sculpture park. Frogs and herons are commonly seen here.
A colorful little library shelf in the park.
A brass sculpture of a small child smiling and hugging a hound dog, just about the same size as the child itself.
