I'm always surprised how much fun it is to debug mechanical problems instead of IT problems. I need more spare time for car and motorbike servicing. Today: engine oil leak due to [probably improperly installed] shaft seal

Manual work is very satisfying.
I have diagnosed and repaired a loose contact of the neutral gear of my motorbike.
Unfortunately, I don't have anywhere nearby where I can do this.
That's why I mostly work with wood in my cellar.

@LaF0rge While I mostly do not like car servicing, I fully understand your point. Wrenching away at multiple motorbikes in my spare time is what keeps me from getting burned out from the IT stuff! (racing said motorbikes definitely is also part of that)

@cristianyxen I did service motorbikes (and still do) for decades, servicing cars never really felt as much fun, but it seems lately I'm getting the hang of it. I still really dislike driving them, though.
