Install the SDK, install a nightly build of Swift and clone the PlaydateKit repo. Details: https://finnvoor.github.io/PlaydateKit/documentation/playdatekit/ Look for the update method in Game.swift and insert Graphics.drawText("Hello World", at: Point(x: 120, y: 200)) Hit run and the simulator will open. Connect Playdate and unlock it. Select Device from the menu bar and Upload Game to Device. @m_mlr

ctietze, 2 months ago @jsq Oh< have you looked into this? I believe for the app idea that I have Lua would be good enough. But I don't want to deal with plain C for a seriously resource constrained project, and I'm good at working in Xcode, so Swift sounded like a good entry point with a low barrier.
