@Centurion480 My fear is if he gets into power, combined with conservative provincial governments will he have enough to reopen the constitution to dial back LTGBQ+ rights? I’m sure he will get pressure from the social conservatives.
@Jgmeadows The Harper years had the state attack science, scientific reporting and disclosure to the public, undermining statistics Canada, and pandering to the theocrats in giving the Deputy Minister of Science to a creationist.
So, yes LBGT, women's rights, abortion, minority rights... etc. will all be attacked, just as the Republicans are doing in the USA.
