Here are some comments about LCEs. Remember, the hardest thing to do is conceptualize what an LCE is. Most people think it's some form of worker's coop. It's nothing of the sort. They think that only because they think in terms of tradition capitalism, i.e., individuals MUST own ithe income producing properties and the net profit. In the case of the LCE, the LCE owns the property and receives the net profit.
Functionally, an LCE is similar to how a "commons" serves a disparate number of people. It serves the all its workers, the companies that are its wholly owned subsidiaries, and creates new CLEs to replicate what the LCE does, i.e., pay workers well and create new LCEs.
I think it solves a lot of problems but doesnt solve Picketys observation of the inevitable aggregation of wealth at the top and thus corruption of democracy nor of corporate personhood but I like it and will investigate
