In preparation for the release of my second #BlackSTEMRomance from the First Responder Fairytales series later this summer. Who is this character from Book 1 #ElevatedInferno #MonetsMoment

aaym

ecsd,

@drcaberry

Offhand, I recall that the number of permutations here is 4!/2!, or 12: yours marked:

aaym, aamy
ayam, amay
yaam*, maay
ayma, amya*
yama, maya*
ymaa, myaa*

perms(abcd) = 4! = 4 x 3 x 2 x 1 = 24. /2! since 'a' is duplicated.

The general formula is n! / product of factorial of [counts of characters of kind K]

So in "AAABBC", 6! / ( 3! * 2! * 1! ) = 6 * 5 * 4/2 = 60.

Yama means mountain in Japanese. You could have a worse character name.

@ecsd I used to love to do word letter permutations when I was bored in english class in 8th grade until I once got in trouble for doodling while the teacher was teaching.
