Morgan shook his head. Knowing that the false demiurge would never understand was irrelevant; he had to say it for his own sake. "I'm not here for them, but for myself. I can't see the entire pattern, the grand design, but I still understand that the most trivial choices of even a single person may shape my life, may shape me.
