Still, I'm convinced that a good #CLI-based #eMail - client is kinda essential for any #TUI / #CLI - based desktop that I do want to have with OS/1337...
@kkarhan back in the uni times I used #pine (or #alpine, I’m not sure) for accessing my university email account, then switched to #eudora. (Al)pine was not bad, but I tried it some time ago and had some problems in configuring. I always wanted to try #mutt so I tried the fork and for the moment I’m quite fine with it. Try a few then choose the one you feel more people will be comfortable with. #mutt really have a ton of options, and they may scare.
In theory offering more than just one is "trivial" in the sense that for OS/1337 the idea is to have statical binaries (and maybe the few necessary configs) as "#packages" so it's just a download as an archive (#bzip2 because it's available in #toybox) and just pull that and place them in the system.
OFC absolute hardcore folks will literally do #eMail just with #curl, #cat, #sed & #awk I guess, but ideally offering a convenient alternative like #neomutt is better.
