I got it with th Cargo Hold 52 panniers, which have a 104L total capacity.

I didn't get the front rack (yet?). Still thinking about that.

With the kid seat cage and some cleverness you can fit another 35L+ on the rear seat, so could get 140L with current setup, at about 50kg.

So like 8-10 full-ish grocery bags without front rack.

@dave_andersen That's ... twice as much cargo space as the Mini Cooper I just sold. Dang.

@dave_andersen cool! Which did you get? I’m torn between a trailer for my e-brompton and a proper cargo e-bike (for carrying stuff, not small people)

@mattblaze I got the Tern GSD. But I definitely chose it with carrying little people in mind - my kids are huge and the weight limit of the HSD is cutting it close. If I didn't have kids I'd probably have done what most of the bike shop employees did and get the HSD S11. Class 3, really fun, tons of cargo capacity, can carry one under-11 year old anyway. I was able to bunny hop on it but I'm a little crazy; that's not really its intended use.

@mattblaze @dave_andersen Trailers are often cheaper but I prefer a cargo e-bike as then you always know exactly where all your wheels are.
