I also tried OpenNoteScanner from #fdroid but could not get the app to work reliable and user-friendly.

On iOS I used the #scanning feature of the #Nextcloud app - better for scanning than everything I used before! But unfortunately, this feature is missing in the Android version of the app. I am currently stuck with the proprietary app ClearScanner - barely usable behind #pihole.

@kaia not that I know of. I managed to grab a copy of MDScan2 for free when the author made a “sale 100% off” for the release of MDScan3, but I never found an equivalent in the F-Droid repositories.
