It’s perfect timing as just days ago I was assigned a new laptop and committed to only #nix for dev tooling 🤣 I still strongly stand by using Pyenv for anyone who doesn’t love configuring more than productivity 😉
@ucodery i really like nix with direnv, but getting it to work with python is just no fun at all.
Been using poetry2nix but after i Split part of the project into a seperate lib, i found out poetry2nix installing of private packages is almost not supported at all, i sort of hit a wall.
Now I'm just using poetry with direnv.
Ive tried multiple build systems for python by now, and i must say, i really like it less and less ☹️
