Friends, now that people are aggregating together, which conferences should I keep an eye on for submissions? My content goes beyond databases fundamentals, language agnostic. I can cover automation, schema tracking, observability, etc.
@gabidavila@tappenden The conference is usually held at the RAI convention center (not sure what RAI stands for) in Amsterdam. I’m not sure the difference between training day and tutorial day, but I suspect “training” is more in-depth and probably targets companies to pay for training. Maybe?

It’s a generic convention centre, named for some Dutch trade body that owns the majority interest, but that’s incidental.
No idea what it stands for. Not enough interest to follow the breadcrumbs 🤷♂️
@tappenden@gabidavila The only reason I mentioned not knowing what it stands for is because of my earlier comment about hating acronyms. I don’t really care what it stands for. 😁
@tappenden Turns out, the conference takes place during my son’s spring break, and we’ll be vacationing in Arizona that week, so I won’t be able to attend, even if they accepted my talks. I hope they move back to June, like it used to be. Otherwise, I might not be able to make it to the conference in the future.
In all honesty, and this is for everyone, if you are thinking of purchasing a ticket and work isn't paying for it, I would suggest doing so very soon. First round of accepted emails will be going out tomorrow. Once we have all the speakers slots filled with acknowledgement from the speakers, the Blind Early bird will end.
