@michaelaye i see nothing suspicious in the hooks, are you sure it's not just because of trying to clone with https? If you download the zip instead, extract it, and use that local dir as source, does it still ask?
@tshirtman well, okay, sounds feasible, but I was just before and after this one trying out other remotely linked cookiecutters, why did that then not happen with those?
