United Nations Planning Digital ID Linked To Bank Accounts
jargoggles, Linking something like this to bank accounts seems incredibly classist.
BrikoX, The UN describes this goal as “an open, free, secure and human-centered digital future.”
It really depends on how it's stored and who has access to it. It's not a bad idea in general, just most proposed implementations were crap.
