Recently it has been so cold here that even the sea froze… with the very low winter-sun that added to a very special and magical coastal atmosphere that is still in my mind two weeks later.
I just love the winter low sun, it gets such a "kind" light and interesting shadows. This landscape is one reason why I just love snowy cold winters, it is so peaceful and beautiful.
Yeah, I agree! Both low sun and winter are really great, but together they add to each other.
The picture was taken at noon, but the light is more like late afternoon and has this comforting warm glow
