@beardedtechguy Seems like they take way more now than what I remember 8 1/2 years ago. Though maybe it's due to how much I make compared to how much I made then. LOL

@cliffwade How did you fill out your form? I always fill out mine as single, 0 dependents even though I have kids. They take out more of check but come tax time, you get more back.

@beardedtechguy That's exactly how I did mine too because I wanted them to take more on each check so I have a better chance of getting more back at tax time.

@beardedtechguy I needed to chime in on this thread but how do you change your dependents to 0 even though I have one kid.

The past two years now I have owed taxes.

@stu You'd need/want to contact HR of the company and ask them to redo your W-2 form so you can change the number of dependents you claim.
