#MiniPainting crew, I'm at a loss what to do with the inside of Jean's collar thing.
Do I make it dark grey like her boots? Yellow (the chest will be yellow too)? Purple (as the cult icon sash thing on her hip will be)? Leave it white? Other?
@erikcats What colour skin are you going for? With it surrounding the head you want a contrast so that it frames the head and makes it stand out.
Purple is a good colour contrast with yellow; pale skin = dark purple (the dark grey of the bood would also work), dark skin = magenta, pinkish skin = blue/purple, cool/dead skin = red/purple.
@erikcats If you are adding some purple to the skin, a purple surround may bring it out more, or may be too much purple.
Maybe neutral grey, like the boots and maybe purple around the edge?
You could use MSpaint to roughly colour-in your photo there and try out colour combinations (something I often do)
@erikcats Other image manipulation programs also exist.
You just have to roughly place some blobs of colour in vaguely the right shape to see if it works for you. E.g. my raider conversion, MSpaint over black basecoat Vs. final painted model
