Metallica’s One album dropped way back in 98. It’s been twenty six years since that album just destroyed my brain, particularly One. Has there been anything that has come close since? Was that the end and we just didn’t know? Is heavy metal dead? One just came on the radio and reminded me that while there is still solid metal, I can’t think of a single song as powerful as One.
