OK, Probably won't get chance to do this for a week or so, but I think the time is coming for me to get off .social, and find a new instance. Anyone got any suggestions as to where I would fit as a maker type, woke, veggie and lazy half read anarchist? Basically if there is a server where people are using PCB hotplates for delicious falafel whilst misquoting Proudhon... also feel free to post links to nice guides on how to migrate with minimal disruption! #fedihelp#mastodon
@concretedog I heard calckey.social allso migrates posts.
With regular instances, you lose all posts and also have to export and then import people you follow. Your followers should migrate automatically, but those you follow won't. Not sure about calckey in this aspect.
@concretedog Personally, out of pure paranoia, I would take a manual backup of your followers/ following/ blocked lists as CSV files as well before moving. Unlikely to be actually needed, but just in case.
