wandy_dev,

Just switched cellular providers to one that works with my linux phones, so I'm going to be daily driving my librem 5 to see how it stacks up.

wandy_dev,

Straight up, 32 gigs is just not enough for flatpak. Librem 5 is an L unless I want to go to the effort of moving my flatpak installs to an SD card.

@wandy_dev I beg to differ - at least a bit.
flatpak list | wc -l = 117, so that should be ~115 installed flatpaks.
The key to achieve this was to install a newer version of flatpak (1.14) from Debian bullseye backports, as the flatpak release shipped with PureOS Byzantium has a space wasting bug. (Also, I have a script I can run when I need to that cleans up apt, journalctl and remaining flatpak residue.)

Even more flatpaks!

@wandy_dev I suppose I should write a short blog post about that/should have written one when I did this.

Till,

@linmob please do, I'm very interested!

My bad, you already have. Thanks a lot!

wandy_dev,

@linmob I'm looking into setting this up now. However I wouldn't be opposed to a guide. I can't remove the pureos installation of flatpak without removing some librem 5 core packages it seems

Edit: found what I needed just on the Debian backports setup guide. I'll report back on this thread with how this is working for me
