I don’t know. We’re probably better of just running it back and getting a good center that can carry some of the defensive and rebounding duties off of AD and probably CP3 on a vet min.
It’s definitely not the most attractive position right now. Showtime + Win Now + Fan Base + Aging Superstar make it one extremely volatile position to be in. Not looking good tbh, considering they’re looking at a pool of JJ, Sam Cassell, etc etc. I may be wrong but I don’t think there are any Championship caliber HC’s available now that Bud is with the Suns.
The championship gives then a good bit of slack. The Westbrook trade was a terrible idea, IDK how much of that was LeBrons Idea? Letting Caruso walk was also terrible, that’s definitely on Rob. Other than those two, I’ve at least understood why they’ve done what they’ve done.
I think they’ve done well in trading away Westbrook and onwards.
AFAIC they lost all their slack the season after the bubble when they stupidly blew up the roster. That team deserved a chance to repeat, just as they were.
Yep, didn’t have to give up anything to get him, and he already has chemistry with some of the players on our roster. Looking forward to his first game with us on Tuesday!
AD and Bron have been healthy all damn season and we’re still .500. Ham has to go. Players need to go. FO needs to go. If Rob doesn’t cook this deadline we aren’t going far at all.
Changes are definitely needed. Ship out some players. Ship out a coach. Something. Edging on .500 with this current setup isn’t gonna get us far in the playoffs, if we even make it.
I still think this is the hardest achievement to earn, especially in today’s NBA, for one of the most lackluster prizes. Other teams get Chick-fil-A for 2 missed free throws! We have to be a top 10 defense to get mediocre tacos. But I do love the “We Want Tacos” chants that permeated the 2000s!
Yeah, with the pace and modern play, really is one of the more difficult achievements, but the “taco” chants are just as hype as when the crowd starts chanting anything really. Seems like every team nowadays can easily crank out 111+
It was a surprisingly competitive game, which indicates that Ham hasn’t completely lost the locker room. I thought this was one of Ham’s better coached games with the exception of putting Cam Reddish back in during the middle of the 4th quarter, which quickly dissipated our 10 point lead.
Definitely, a competitive game, but I also wouldn’t say that he gained the locker room back from it. Still feels disconnected with some post game interviews that I’ve seen.
The first thing you need to consider is that he exploded from just inside the free throw line (which is 15’ from the hoop), which is insane to begin with. Two, he finished with contact over a strong and lengthy Paul George (although he didn’t contest), which is even more impressive. Three, he elevated even higher than necessary, making him float longer in the air for aesthetics. Fourth, and I can’t stress this point enough, he did this at the ripe old age of 39 years old. Paul George is 6 years his junior. Most 39 professional athletes are sitting on the bench, cheering on their decade(s)-younger teammates, ready to cash in their league pensions.
Paul George also sidestepped at the very last second, preventing this poster dunk from being even more embarrassing for him.
