Great piece by @alabut on digital relationships. I've been working from home since pre-pandemic too and loving it. Here Al expounds upon what tech and the web means to our generation and even older generations, as we all use it to try and improve our stuff. Awesome read.

What’s been a huge help for a while now is that my “save it for later” reading app will email me auto-generated summaries the next day. It’s helped to curb the rabbit hole addiction to know that I don’t have to read something right away for fear that it’ll get lost in an endless backlog. Just cruise through the digest and skim links to get a gist of which ones to dive further into.
Separating out my browsing and skimming mode from actually dedicated reading time has helped a lot!
@alabut@vanderwal whoaa this looks like a good one. Yeah, I bookmark stuff and then dig through later, but it is quite a bunch.. I've found the key is doing it and un-bookmarking pretty regularly haha
