@paintedsky I have (as I'm still recovering as we speak) severe gastrointestinal infection due to the worst food poisoning I ever had in my entire life
It's been surreal to me, I was so not even mentally prepared for something this rough
@DavidBFox The irony of the whole thing is crazy, but I am certain it was a papaya haha
And the worst part is that it was a gift. I went to the street farmers market to buy lemons and stuff - and they gave me a sliced papaya as a gift. My guess is, it was either bad already, or whatever knife they used was obviously not sanitary at all
That has been the worst food poisoning I ever had in my entire life, hands down
@sayomgwtf@DavidBFox Actual food poisoning is brutal, it’s a word thrown around a bit lightly. Getting a bit sick from food (that then exits) and you feel ok ~24h later, that’s just bad food.

@darmato@sayomgwtf@paintedsky@DavidBFox I don’t trust salads, evil things. I’ve had raw egg, cookie dough, raw fish, rotten fish, raw meat. Somehow been fine.
@sayomgwtf@darmato@paintedsky Sliced fruit? Wonder what exactly they sliced it with. I’ve had samples of sliced fruit at farmers markets many times. Glad you’re in the mend.
@ceremus At least I feel like I have a fighting chance without having to go back to the hospital and had like 4 bottles via IV like the first time I went
@sayomgwtf@ceremus For what it’s worth, and I don’t hope it happens again, but getting fluids via IV is one hell of an experience. Not often has anything happened that made me feel better that fast. It was surreal.
Much better not having to get it though.
(Rumors has it that it’s also a hangover cure, but I’m sure it’s something medical professionals might not talk too much about:) I am not a medical professional and the only advice you should take from me

Do you guys know a legal way to play it again? I did have the floppy disks, but lost them. Checking online, #gog and #steam only sell the special edition 😢
I’m a Mac user, and I think #scummvm is legal as long as I find where to buy the game…
