I got an old eXperia from my mother and it turned out that //e/OS had a ROM for it.
It worked really well until the back started to fall off 🙄

Drop the toxic corporate stuff, buy Fairphone 5 instead and you'll invest in:

1. de-Googled Android (just select at first boot)
2. fairtrade,
3. sustainability,
4. longevity (5+ years warranty),
5. a device made for you to easily and cheapily replace parts like battery,
6. quality, maybe not the highest fidelity hardware for its price tag, but it's a good phone at 8500kr,

@amici I'm so torn. Of course it's the right thing to do, but sometimes it's hard to do the right thing.

I'll probably just stick with my iPhone 13 Mini until it dies, not least because I'm stuck in the Apple ecosystem (Apple TV, Homepod Mini, Apple Music, Apple Watch).

The only better option than a fairphone is the phone you already have.
