It's interesting to see how much David Galbraith's art installation at the Stockingfield Bridge on the Forth and Clyde Canal has changed already. It represents nature reclaming the city's idustrial past, and so far nature seems to be doing a very good job of it!
@thisismyglasgow not an Austin Rover, just a Rover. My father bought one of those cars second hand in 1959, the model ceased production in 1964. Rover wouldn't join the Leyland group until 1967, and Austin wouldn't join the group for another year after that.
@thisismyglasgow I live literally right next to the Forth & Clyde canal in Kirkintilloch, it's so good to walk along in alm the different seasons and so beautiful too
@thisismyglasgow When I do go a walk along the canal, I usually get as far as the swimming baths in Bishopbriggs, but would love to walk from Bowling all the way out Edinburgh or do that in a barge boat, as the scenery is so beautiful 😊💖
