Well, even Hitler had dogs. And even though donnie is gross and doesn’t like dogs, he’s probably crafty enough to realize most Americans do like dogs. I do wonder if she was pitching this story directly at him since she had to know he hates dogs…was she hoping this would make her VP?
Yeah, there was a Behind the Bastards episode recently where Robert touches on how many fascists are capable of much more empathy for animals than they have for human beings. This particular fascist forgot her audience.
Dogs are the weak spot of the right. Not too long ago Mitt Romney caught shit because he told a story about a cross country road trip with his dog in a crate on the car roof. I think there was also diarrhea involved from the dog?
I also had a far right room mate (was friends before the right wing pipeline grabbed him) and he constantly ranted against the NRA for its treatment of hunting dogs. The right are weird creatures. They want love but only if it’s on their terms. And love means “mine” instead of “us”.
