#Denver Mayor Mike Johnston (no relation to MAGA Mike) has bucked the trend. His city has brought in 40,000 more migrants, the most per capita of any city in the US. And he is pushing for changes which would make it easier for companies to hire them. This is a win-win situation. These people don't need welfare; they want to work. The companies need more bodies. Everybody benefits.
