Had an appointment at a CVS in #Roslindale for a #Covid19 shot on Friday. Got canceled. Had an appointment at a CVS in #WestRoxbury this morning. Was also canceled. What are the odds the West Roxbury Walgreens will come through for the appointment I set up for tomorrow? #Boston
@universalhub glad it worked out! The Walgreens I went to (in south Philly) set on fire, but they made sure I got my shot as we all evacuated the building. A bit of an adjustment in chaos from what I’m used to in Boston…
@universalhub We experienced that last year in East Boston. Ended up getting our shots in Revere. Slightly out of our way but not terribly so. This year, we got lucky and our appointments were not cancelled.
@universalhub Davis Square cancelled on me on Friday, also with no explanation; seems to be a lot of it around. I wonder if @gbhnews might be interested in what's up here.
It might be part of the general disintegration of CVS pharmacies, but it might be something more interesting?
