Pretty unacceptable split at home against a team that had just 4 wins coming into the series. This series highlights the flaws of this team. Hoyer and Ricketts want to keep nickel and diming things in hopes of building a winner, but the flaws of this plan are apparent.

Pitching remains questionable (starters, bullpen, and closers). The rest of the line-up seems reasonably solid both hitting and fielding, but individual streaks good/bad could lay that out too. I haven't seen anything this season that makes me think the Cubs will take their division.
But as usual, I'll keep watching MLB.tv. At least Kyle didn't get shelled in the first couple innings. That's actually a modest improvement. 🤷♂️ ⚾ 🐻
