Unfortunately, we didn't get the #type3 here. Instead, we had our own variant called... Variant, but it never had an electronic fuel injection system. What people usually do here is to adapt the VW Bus system on it.
@schizanon Funny, the front looks a lot like the VW 1600 we had here in the 60s-70s. The Variant had this front until 1972, which is the year mine was manufactured. You can see it on the picture.
During that year it got the VW Brasilia face and also the back afterwards.

During the 70s the national industry kind of departed from the rest of the world due to an import ban on vehicles. That's why we had these unique models.
Although I still dream of having a Type 3 next to my Variant.
