@sharan Loved it honestly, looked great, was caught off guard by the title music but it was a perfect fit. The whole feel apart from JR's state (which was unfortunately just terrible timing, and who is going to say no to JR even in that state wanting to be there and take part?).
I can only hope that it's expanded on and they keep that ball rolling.
@sharan Personally I'm a tad over CM Punk, I can see why he draws eyes in on the product and why people enjoy him but he's just not for me. But that is something I do love about AEW they generally have a bit of everything from serious no nonsense wrestling, to comedy, to lucha.
Not everything is going to hit with everyone and that's fine, I do get the feeling he had a couple ways to go with that promo and was playing it by ear some. Unfortunately when you do that even the best in the world is going to stumble occasionally.
@sharan I thought it was really good all around. The overall look of the show was fantastic, and really helped it to feel distinct from Dynamite. Hopefully they can keep going at a similar level in the coming weeks.
