Note: regarding #Malta, whereas some accounts state that they already recognise #Palestine, they in fact recently made a joint statement in March 2024 together with #Ireland, #Slovenia and #Spain saying that:
"We discussed together our readiness to recognise Palestine and said that we would do so when it can make a positive contribution and the circumstances are right."
"Still, the resolution does provide new diplomatic perks to Palestinians.

➡️ they can speak at General Assembly meetings on any topic instead of being limited to Palestinian affairs;
➡️ they can submit proposals and amendments;
