Lunar: TSS was the 3rd proper JPRG I ever played. My first was Phantasy Star on the SMS, and Shining Force on the Sega Genesis after. I'd also played Ultima prior. Lunar: The Silver Star remains to me the single biggest jump in RPGs I've ever seen. Coming from Shining Force, Lunar was an enormous step up in scope and presentation. One of my all time favorite games ever. The modern perception of the #SegaCD is nothing like what owning one at the time was like.
