My memories of Scandinavian ports visited as a ships engineer are still vivid after almost 50 years.
Stockholm was a 2 hour passage past I believe 2,000 islands.
The tankers I was on were relatively small, 12,000 tons, so we got right into cities rather than miles away.
Happy days, with young wife with me 😎
