Hey everyone. Introductory post. Mellite is a software I have been developing since around 2010. I usually describe it as an environment for creating experimental computer-based music and sound art, where real-time sound synthesis is based on a SuperCollider dialect. Besides, it contains many abstractions for working with sound and control flows, using snippets written in the Scala programming language.

The main website for Mellite is https://www.sciss.de/mellite/ , which in turn links to the source code ( https://codeberg.org/sciss/Mellite ) and binary downloads ( https://archive.org/details/Mellite ).

Since I pretty much know the "boundaries" of this magazine's theme, I am using it also as a test vehicle for kbin. The user base for Mellite is pretty small, so let's see if this makes sense as a discussion or announcement platform at all (as of this writing, there isn't even a SuperCollider or Scala magazine, both of which would have much larger audiences). Feel free to comment.

And since I was listing links, there should also be the one to video tutorials on peertube: https://diode.zone/c/mellite/videos
