so misskey.io announced they're introducing a temporary measure against the spambots by ignoring all posts, boosts, replies and whatnot from other instances, UNLESS a user from a different instance is followed by someone on misskey.io
if you wanna maintain communication with misskey.io's users you should make an account from there and follow your main that is on another instance (the announcement itself recommends this method)
@driftini this isn't even the worst solution i've seen to the problem, in fact it's one of the better ideas i've seen
especially considering mkio is the target of the spammers and a temporary "lockdown mode" would basically stomp out all spam at little cost
@AmyIsCoolz I can follow you (if Misskey following not bug out again).
The sign ups were limited to Japan only after big influx of English artists and so on.
But I do have a memo that I follow for #arknights players/artists so promise me you give a watch of anime at least 😉 @Kotking
