My new favorite old album is BGM by Yellow Magic Orchestra, a Japanese Berlin School band that included the late great Ryuichi Sakamoto.
How have I not known about this band always? It kinda feels/sounds like they must have been formative to my music, but I'm just hearing them for the first time recently.
