@jake4480 bookmarked! I was way into Diablo 2 but was not into 3. Did you play 4? Is it good? Do you know if I can I play it offline or is it one of those live service games?
@dinozombie haha I love Diablo, I'm not super great at them, I play casually. Loved em since 1, which is my favorite. 2 was pretty cool, not super into 3 myself but played it. 4 I do love. (I was putting off buying it but after my wife saw me play and love both the free beta and the free weekend, she INSISTED I get it.)
And yeah, it's all online, gotta be logged in. I don't like THAT about it, but this new loot update they just put out today looks really cool and it will be interesting to see what it's like. I actually own it physically haha but yeah, updates on the Series X etc. But it plays pretty SMOOTH.
4 is like a mixture of ALL THREE of the others, maybe even in equal amounts? It's wild. My kid is 17 had never played a Diablo game and we played together, it has great couch co-op. It's pretty easy to pick up, just mess around, you can skip story even eventually, I've just been trying all the classes. Usually get em up to about level 20-40 but it's a blast.
@jake4480 nice, that sounds good, I'll probably give it a shot if I can find it on sale. What jumped out to me is the couch co-op thing? Is it playable with a controller? When I think Diablo I automatically picture a clickfest of mouse killing proportions lol
@dinozombie ha! No, the controllers work GREAT. Yep, I have 2 wireless controllers for the Series X and it's seriously awesome being able to map buttons and such as you play. I know- the old days of just mouse! hahaha
@dinozombie here's a clip from when I first got it really, trying out rogue, you can see some monsters etc, rain of arrows.. the map, the inventory system, you liked 2 so it's semi similar. It's a beautiful damn game haha. You can even ride a horse eventually 🤯
@dinozombie right?!? The monsters are ON POINT haha. Just make sure you don't wander into an area meant for a stronger level character - instant death! 🤣
