Another minor earthquake shook parts of Dhaka on Sunday. Just six days after a mild tremor, this one had a magnitude of 4.2 on the Richter Scale and lasted only a few seconds. It struck at 12:49 pm and was centered in the Tangali district, about 59 km northwest of Dhaka. Thankfully, there were no reported casualties. A similar event occurred in the Sylhet region on September 9, with a 4.4 magnitude quake originating in India’s Assam. Stay safe, everyone!
