Someone I know suspects he's on the spectrum. We were talking recently about movies, and he can't watch most action or superhero movies. Mostly he has trouble with scenes that are very busy, lots of things happening -- he finds it overwhelming. He might even get a headache from those scenes. Is this a common thing?
On the other hand, he loves going to live music, and will go, usually by himself, to venues that might be crowded and loud.
Do others have the same mix of reactions? What's the difference? We're just trying to understand. #autism#neurodivergent
