"We have to stop the expansion of NATO, no matter how many additional members we add to it in the process!"

Gork,
FreshLight,

I would be more than happy to have a NATO citizen pass

verity_kindle,

Putin’s nightmares coming true, this is Dwead Piiiwat Wobuhts rolling up to the gate in flames with Andre the Giant’s voice booming.

LEDZeppelin,

No surprises that Cheeto Mussolini is planning US to withdraw from NATO as soon as he is “sworn” in

stoy,

Has Orban signed the documents yet?

noride,

No sign, no jets. simple as. He’ll sign.

nuke,

Let’s just say if he doesn’t, agents are on standby https://sh.itjust.works/pictrs/image/9c63e985-fe0c-44e1-bdad-c6a384dbd31e.jpeg

no

update: i did a big stupid, it doesn’t require orban’s signature, it requires hungarian president signature. for ~2wk up to yesterday hungary had no president, and now there is acting president László Kövér. however it all really depends on orban as is usual

  • nuke,

    What’s your point?

    index,

usa goverment and people behind nato ambitions doesn’t seem to stop at where the map ends. This article by the new york times says cia has been operating in ukraine for a decade

    JoYo,
    @JoYo@lemmy.ml avatar

is the cia operating in ukraine in the room with us now?

    nuke,

We support CIA involvement in Ukraine here.

    hydroptic,

If Russians could just stop genociding their neighbors for a few decades we wouldn’t even need NATO

    GoodEye8,

Oh no, an ally is having joint operations with the CIA. What has the world become?

    frezik,

The CIA has been operating in Ukraine since around the time of Russia’s 2014 Crimea invasion? I hope so. They aren’t doing their job if they didn’t. Say what you will about what the CIA does in general, but this is exactly what they’re for.

    just after allen wrench arrives

    wise_pancake,

Missed opportunity to turn the Gulf of Cope into a weiner

    originaltnavn,

I agree, let’s nuke southern Sweden into the sea before accepting them! (Assuming you are referring to the Norwayless euro coins)

It sure is a mystery why our neighbors keep joining NATO. Must be russophobia.

    skillissuer,
    @skillissuer@discuss.tchncs.de avatar

it’s not russophobia because the fear isn’t irrational - polish MFA recently

    hydroptic,

Better invade another neighbor to make sure everybody sees that the US is the biggest threat in Europe

    frezik,

There’s an old political cartoon that I’ve had trouble finding. It was a bunch of voters jumping onto Bill Clinton because they were afraid of a newt (Gingrich).

It’d be useful in so many other contexts.
