Magill replied, "If the speech turns into conduct, it can be harassment. Yes."
Stefanik followed up: "I am asking, specifically, calling for the genocide of Jews, does that constitute bullying or harassment?"
Magill responded that it was a "context-dependent decision."
"It's a context-dependent decision -- that's your testimony today?" Stefanik countered. "Calling for the genocide of Jews is depending upon the context?"

Such an easy question with an easy answer. All she had to do was say “Yes, that would constitute harassment.”

Whether it be Jews or Palestinians, calling for the genocide of any group of people should be considered harassment and should not be acceptable in any circumstance, especially at the some of the US’s best universities.

Eat the rich is harassment?

Are you calling for their death, or are you being facetious?

If it is the former, then I stand by my comment that it’s unacceptable.

If it’s the latter, then it’s a strange remark to make in response to a comment condemning genocide.

Oh, so context does matter.

No. I do not think jokes about genocide are appropriate.

Both interpretations are inappropriate.
